I will take you to 3 izakayas (Japanes Bars) that Japanese usually go in Shinjyuku. Some places like Memory Lane(Omoide Yokocho), Kabukicho, Golden Gai etc.
You can save time researching and planning your trip because I will show you places that are usually difficult for tourists to find. I can recommend you delicious foods & drinks and order it for you, so you can take the stress out of language barriers. Also during the bar hopping, I can show you nice places in Shinjyuku.
Shinjyuku Station
We will meet at Shinjyuku Station. After meeting and introducing ourselves we will walk to the first Izakaya and enjoy food and drinks there.
After the first Izakaya, we will walk to the second bar. During the walk I will show you great places in Shinjyuku.
At last, we will go to 3rd Izakaya in Shinjyuku.
I will take you back to the Shinjyuku station and end the tour there.
Shinjyuku Station
・You can eat delicious Japanese Foods and Drinks at a reasonable price.
・You can see places that Local Japanese people usually drink and hang out.
・There are a lot of tourists in Shinjyuku but I will take you where Japanese people hang out.
・You can have fun time with a English Speaking Japanese guide.

・It depends on how much you eat & drink, but at each izakaya, you will need around 2000~3000yen/person.
・Please bring cash because some places only accepts cash.
・The Izakaya that we were going will be at a reasonable price.
・There is a possibilty of going to a standing bar. If you want to sit at all 3 places, please imform me beforehand.
・If the group is more than 5 people, I might take an assistant to help me. There will be no extra charge.(In this case, I will ask you before the tour.)
Kuni was great at maintaining communication and arrived early to our meeting. The itinerary was varied and unique. We enjoyed each of the bars we visited. This was for my husband because I do not drink. But, I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere of each of our stops. Thank you, Kuni for another fun night in Shinjuku.

Our family group of 6 people had spent our first full day in Tokyo walking around - more than 20,000 steps worth! By the time it was 7:00pm and time to meet Kuni we were exhausted. When we met, I told Kuni we likely could only make the first stop and we'd have to head back to our air bnb. Kuni was amenable and we headed to our first izakaya on Memory Lane. Long story short, we had a blast! I didn’t think we’d be able to visit more than one place but Kuni's great energy pumped us up and made us want more! I am so glad we didn’t miss Golden Gai. He opened the door and our eyes to places we would never have discovered on our own. It was awesome. Kuni is fun, energetic and has a great laugh. It was wonderful to meet and hang out with him - and his restaurant and food choices were perfect for us after a long day. He re-energized us and we ended the night at a bar in Golden Gai. We didn't shut it down or anything but we had more than one drink and had a great time. We highly recommend Kuni if you want to eat at the gems of izakayas hidden in the alleys of "old" Tokyo.
